DESCRIPTION:Michael Harner’s \nShamanic Extraction Healing Training\nENROLLMENT IS NOW CLOSED \nAn Advanced Weekend Workshop*\nwith Beth Beurkens\, M.A.\nPortland\, Oragon\nSaturday\, April 27\, 2019    9:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.\nSunday\, April 28\, 2019    8:45 A.M. – 4:15 P.M.\nCourse Description\nParticipants are initiated into the extraction method of healing\, including how to see\, sense\, and remove localized illness and pain connected to spiritual factors. This is an important part of shamanic healing training. They will also learn how shamanic practitioners can work in partnership to increase the effectiveness of this work. The Extraction Healing Training workshop is designed exclusively for people who want to bring shamanic healing work into their practice with others. The training is not designed for people looking for personal healing. \nShamanic Extraction Healing Training is now one of the FSS prerequisites for the Core Soul Retrieval Training. \n\nPortland\nPortland is known as the Rose City. Portland is closely tied to the water. The Willamette River runs through its center\, while the enormous Columbia River flows along its northern edge\, dividing Oregon and Washington. Within a short drive from downtown you can be hiking or wind-surfing in the Columbia Gorge\, playing in the sand on the Oregon coast\, staring at the crater of Mt. St. Helens or hiking the trails on Mount Hood. Portland is known for its its plethora of top-notch restaurants and is also famous for its coffee and huge Powell’s bookstores. \nClick here to learn more about the instructor\nThe Foundation for Shamanic Studies will offer Continuing Education (CE) contact hours/credit (CEU’s) for this workshop. 13 CE credits will be offered for this workshop. Please see the FSS website CE page for how to apply for these credits.\nPrerequisite: The Foundation For Shamanic Studies —Michael Harner’s Way of the Shaman®: The Shamanic Journey\, Power and Healing. This basic workshop can be taken with Beth Beurkens at the following locations: \nRegistration\n$285 per person for early registration – up to one month prior to start of workshop.
